Our Story
Amerivest Group was founded in 1983 by Chuck Spallitta, a seasoned entrepreneur who saw a need for professional, ethical, and effective business brokerage services in Florida. Chuck recognized that selling or buying a business was one of the most important financial and personal decisions an owner could make — and that it required more than just listing a company for sale.
With that vision, he built Amerivest on four pillars: confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, and results. From the beginning, Chuck and his team focused on providing fair, honest counsel and guiding business owners through every stage of the process — from valuation to closing.
Over the decades, Amerivest grew into one of Florida’s leading business brokerage and M&A firms, closing hundreds of transactions across industries and price ranges. Many of the firm’s advisors came from business ownership backgrounds themselves, carrying forward Chuck’s original commitment to treat every customer like a partner.
